Jameis Winston is entering his second season in the NFL and there are a few numbers that he should be aware of if he wants to go down as one of the best Bucs quarterbacks and one of the best in the league.

Jameis Winston was hit 109 times last season second most in the league behind only Russell Wilson.  He has to protect himself if he wants to protect the ball and stay healthy. He had 15 interceptions and three fumbles, not terrible for a rookie season but there is definite room for improvement. This issue can be resolved by him getting the ball out quicker, better chemistry with offense, and stronger offensive line. The continuity of Dirk Koetter and the same offense will help him familiarize with the playbook but it’s all on Winston to be smarter and safer. Not only for the team but his own health as well
