Buccaneers announce 2017 training camp schedule

The Buccaneers 2017 training camp schedule has been released. Come see when your team will be open to watch them prepare for battle.

Haven’t we been waiting forever for Buccaneers football to return? It certainly feels that way. Especially at this point in the year, when the news isn’t abundant around the league, it feels like football is gone forever. I mean, nothing is better than NFL football, am I right? We basically just tread water through the other sports seasons, waiting for the NFL to return.

The journey back is finally almost complete. We already knew that training camp was coming in July, but now we know specifics. What are we talking about? The Bucs have released their training camp schedule. When we have the specifics on workout times, football is on the horizon, and what could be better than that?

Good news, fans, coach Koetter is going to continue on his practice of last year by holding open practices early in the morning. For both fans and players, he is seeking to avoid the Florida heat by working out from 8:45 AM through around 10:50 AM, some ending earlier.

You can check out the team, see them get their work in, and be inside before the intense heat and rainstorms invariably come.

There will be 13 practices open to the general public, and one exclusively for the military. That one, for all of you current and/or retired military, is on July 31.
