What a difference a week makes. The 0-1 Buccaneers entered Week 2 against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints looking for redemption and their first win of the season.

They achieved both in a 26-19 victory which wasn’t near as close as the score would lead one to believe.

The Bucs completely controlled the game for the first three quarters and although Sean Payton’s team made a valiant effort at a comeback they were unable to sustain momentum as the Tampa defense held them scoreless for the last seven-plus minutes of the game.

Points win games, and despite the fact that the defense surrendered more yards than in Week 1 the team won as they only surrendered two touchdowns to a high powered offense.

Jacquies Smith led the way on defense as he scored 21 fantasy points and led all defensive lineman for the week. His three sacks and two forced fumbles were crucial to the win and showed just what Smith is capable of when healthy.
