It’s funny every year how certain players fall and rise up draft boards after every game has been completed and nobody is competing.

As scouts, media and experts get more time to really analyze film they start to realize things they didn’t see before in players.

Budda Baker is one of the risers who started the off-season as a mid-late second round prediction and has steadily been creeping into the first-round talks.

If he has a solid combine then he will really get his momentum going, and the Buccaneers could be just the team to pull the trigger on taking him day one.

While the Bucs’ secondary certainly improved as the year went on, let’s not pretend like this is a done deal and nothing further needs to happen.

Baker is a multi-talented safety who can do just about anything the team will need him to, and makes this pick a very fruitful one.
