The Chiefs are keeping Eric Berry in case you haven’t heard, but they may not keep Dontari Poe now. Either way, even if they do keep both, they’ll need some help on the defensive line when it comes to pass rushing especially.

Charles Harris from Missouri is not only capable of coming in and getting to the quarterback in this defense, but he’s from a school which will make many of their in-state fans very happy.

With Jamaal Charles headed for another team this off-season, the Kansas City offense will have some holes to fill themselves, but looking at the board currently it only makes sense for the Chiefs to add more talent to a defense which will have to carry a heavy burden in 2017.

If this team wants to return to the playoffs, they’ll need to hit big in later rounds again for some running backs or receivers, but they can go to bed after day one knowing they got an impact rookie with their top pick this season.
