#2 WR Mike Evans

Not only is Winston happy about all the new players joining the offense but Mike Evans is right there with him. After getting targeting a league high 175 times, there will now be more players for Winston to rely on making Evans see more one on one coverage. Unfortunately for the defense, Evans is going to win that battle more often than not. He’s had a tremendous first three years in the league and in my opinion already a top five receiver in the game. His 3,578 yards and 27 touchdowns prove it.

Like Winston, Evans is far from a selfish player and just wants to get the Bucs back into the playoffs. As of now, Evans makes a salary a little more then Odell Beckham Jr., who has been in the news as of late for not showing up to camp because the Giants haven’t given him a new contract extension. Evans has been just as good as OBJ throughout their first three years and can be asking the same of the Bucs. Instead, he just goes about his business doing whatever he can to help this team.

Evans is built like a basketball player, standing at 6’5″ and weighing 241 pounds. Being that big and fast makes it near impossible for the smaller corners of today to match up with him without some help. Even with all the new weapons surrounding him, that should do nothing but improve his production to newer heights. This is the year that Evans breaks out even more and truly cements himself as one of the best in the game, I can’t wait to watch.
