1. His Cousin is a Future Hall-of-Famer

After being selected in the fourth round, Jordan Whitehead is headed to the NFL, where his cousin is nearing the end of a legendary career. Who is his cousin? Oh, just four-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection Darrelle Revis. Whitehead joined Good Morning Football earlier in April to talk about seeing Revis get drafted back in 2007:

Whitehead followed in Revis’ footsteps by playing at the University of Pittsburgh. Now, he is following in his footsteps by playing in the NFL. Revis was released by the Chiefs in February, but could presumably continue playing if he chooses to. He has already spent eleven seasons in the league, racking up those All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections in addition to winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots. Of course, he also spent one year with the Bucs back in 2013 before being unceremoniously released in March of 2014.

No one expects Whitehead to play at the level that Revis did. However, he should have a good chance to become a valuable starter in the NFL, one that the Bucs could use for the next several years.
