1. WR Chris Godwin

And with the highest grade according to PFF from Thursday night was third year wide receiver Chris Godwin. The Penn State product is blossoming right before our eyes as he has taken a step in each of his first three seasons to this point; Godwin led the team in receiving with eight catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

PFF gave Godwin an overall grade of 90.9 for his performance against the division rival Panthers. He now have 174 yards and has caught a touchdown in each of the first two games of the season for the pewter and red to this point and looks poised for a monster 2019 campaign; as Mike Evans continues to draw most of the attention from opposing secondaries, Godwin will continue to fly under the radar.

Winston has to be smiling knowing he has some of the best weapons in the league with Evans, Godwin, Brate, and tight end O.J. Howard once he gets things turned around early in the season. Godwin, and deservedly so, has been the top performer for the Buccaneers this season and is on pace for a torrid season. Next week against the New York Giants, he will see another favorable matchup as he looks to score in three straight games to open the season.
