5.136: Kylin Hill, RB, Mississippi State

The Buccaneers will need to add another running back this year as Peyton Barber is playing out the last year of his deal. At this point it does not seem like signing a veteran at the position with the shortest shelf life is a good idea. So adding another running back to pile with the flashy Ronald Jones for the pewter and red in the 2020 draft is the best bet.

Kylin Hill from Mississippi State is a sleeping giant in this class that many do not have their tabs on, however this writer believes that he is a top five back in this year’s draft class. Hill is fast, strong, well balanced, and has great burst when he hits the hole; in his junior year, he is showing out for the Bulldogs and has already surpassed his total from a year ago.

Averaging nearly six yards per carry, Hill has already topped 1,000 yards on the year with 1,027 yards rushing and nine touchdowns in his junior campaign in the SEC. At 5-11 and 215 pounds, Hill is a stocky, strong back, and is built to take on the beating that the NFL will bring at the next level; you can see his scouting report here.
