1. The future would be set

In this situation, the Buccaneers would likely be signing Brady to a two-year, or potentially three-year, deal.

With him in place as the starter for the next couple of seasons, Tampa Bay would be able to be selective in the draft and find that future franchise QB.

Could it be a guy in this draft like Justin Herbert or Jacob Eason? Potentially.

Could it be a QB in the 2021 NFL Draft? That would certainly be a possibility, as well.

The future franchise QB would have the opportunity to learn under Brady and be brought in slowly, rather than just being thrown into the fire. That’s how you set yourself up for success in the future.

Honestly, this all still just seems like a pipe dream. There are going to be plenty of other potential suitors for Brady and Tampa Bay’s chances of landing the veteran QB are slim, but it’s certainly something worth pursuing.
