The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take a wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are five legitimate targets for the Bucs as we approach the draft.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ave some majorly important decisions to make during the 2020 NFL Draft.

One of the positions that the Buccaneers will absolutely address during the draft is wide receiver. Tampa Bay chose to move away from Breshad Perriman and select a cheaper option for the third slot in the starting lineup.

Here’s a look at five legitimate wide receiver targets for the Buccaneers heading into the 2020 NFL Draft.

5. Laviska Shenault Jr. (Round 2)

Colorado’s Laviska Shenault Jr. is a different type of wide receiver than what the Bucs might be looking for, but there’s no doubt he is going to be special.

If Tampa elects to go with a wide receiver in the second-round, Shenault Jr. could be a WR that they just can’t pass up.

Shenault Jr. may be the greatest play-maker in the draft class and he would be a guy who can come in, line up in many different positions and do an excellent job becoming an added asset to Tom Brady‘s arsenal.

4. Bryan Edwards (Round 3-5)

Bryan Edwards received really good news when everything checked out fine medically.

Though he still has some question marks around him when it comes to his health, Edwards absolutely has the talent to be a great play-maker at the next level.

He has the length and the measurables to be an asset and would fit in perfectly with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

3. Michael Pittman Jr. (Round 2)

Pittman Jr. is another guy who fits the bill in terms of measurables and he would be a big-time asset for the Buccaneers in the downfield passing game.

That physicality, size and athleticism are what have him as a solid second-round pick.

If Tampa Bay wants to draft Pittman Jr., this would likely be a perfect fit, especially if the Bucs added another second-round pick through a trade.

2. Antonio Gibson (Round 4-5)

Antonio Gibson would be a perfect Day 3 selection for the Buccaneers.

Gibson blazed a 4.39 40-yard dash during the NFL Combine and would be a great addition because of his versatility.

Gibson is a guy who can make an impact lining up all over the field. He can rush the ball from the running back spot and line up and play wide receiver.

That play-making ability may vault him up draft boards before it’s all said and done.

1. Chase Claypool (Round 2-3)

Chase Claypool is the type of wide receiver who would absolutely fit into the Bucs’ system perfectly as the third-man.

Claypool has elite size and proved during the NFL Combine that he has the speed, as well, to get the job done.

Once believed to be a fourth-rounder, Claypool has continued to improve his draft stock and is now being projected as high as a second-rounder.
