Outside Linebacker/Edge Rusher for the Buccaneers

Daelin Hayes, Notre Dame

Hayes was a vocal and productive leader on one of college football’s best defenses over the last few seasons. He’s got a great combination of strength and speed to beat tackles off the edge or bull-rush them into the pocket. He’s also comfortable and experienced in either a two-point stance or as a down lineman. His sort of versatility, talent, and experience is a rare find in the later rounds of most drafts. Be that as it may, he’s expected to be available on Day 3.

Chauncey Gholston, Iowa

Gholston is another standout in the long line of successful NFL-ready trench players coming out of Iowa. Nothing he does is going to jump off the film, but he is technically sound and isn’t going to make mistakes that lead to big plays. This is a guy who can set the edge, overpower tight ends, and frustrate offensive tackles. He’ll play in the league for a long time.

Chris Rumph II, Duke

Rumph is a pass-rushing specialist who you can move all over the field due to his size and athleticism. He’s extremely smart and a great on-field decision maker — something you’d expect from a coach’s son. With a little work, he has the speed and agility to run with and cover tight ends and running backs if he needed to.
