The Tampa Bay Buccaneers return all 11 starters from an offensive unit that ranked among the league’s best in 2024, and with continuity and momentum on their side, several Bucs players could emerge as fantasy league winners this season.
Tampa Bay’s offense has consistently delivered elite fantasy production in recent seasons, and that trend is poised to continue in 2025.
Top Buccaneers to Target in 2025 Fantasy Football Drafts
Baker Mayfield
Mayfield had the best season of his career in 2024, yet his production could still take another step forward in 2025.
Mayfield finished last season as the QB4 in PPR leagues, behind only Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow.
The offense brought back all 11 starters from last season’s top-performing unit, and added wide receiver Emeka Egbuka in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Protected by one of the league’s most reliable offensive lines and throwing to arguably the league’s deepest receiving arsenal consisting of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Egbuka, and Cade Otton, the expectations are massive for Mayfield this season.
He has everything he needs at his disposal to repeat last year’s effort as a top 5 fantasy quarterback, and if you land him, be sure to stack him with his favorite receiving option.
Mike Evans
Death, taxes, and Mike Evans. Despite missing extended time due to a hamstring injury last season, Evans finished as the WR14 in PPR format.
Many are scared off by the embarrassment of riches that the Buccaneers have on offense, and they project less targets for Evans with all the mouths to feed. As Evans’ average draft position dips-according to FantasyPros, Evans’ ADP currently sits at No. 41 overall and No. 19 among receivers-take advantage of the overthinking of your leaguemates, and feel comfortable betting on the consistency of Evans. If history is an indicator, Evans will outperform his draft position and prove to be a tremendous value.
Evans has recorded 1,000 receiving yards in 11 consecutive seasons since entering the league in 2014–that’s an all-time NFL record! Simply put, nobody has been more consistent than Evans, possibly ever, and he is one of the safest picks you can make in your fantasy draft.
In addition to his yardage production, Evans is also an elite touchdown scorer, posting double digit touchdown receptions in four of the last five seasons. His 105 career touchdowns rank No. 9 in NFL history, and the future Hall of Famer shows no signs of slowing down after 11 touchdown receptions in just 14 games last season. If he is on the field, he will be producing at an elite level for the Buccaneers, and for your fantasy team.
Bucky Irving
Bucky Irving took the NFL by storm during his rookie campaign, and instantly become a fan favorite in Tampa Bay. The 2024 fourth-round pick rushed for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns, adding 392 receiving yards on 47 catches.
Irving finished as the RB13 last season, despite only starting three games and not taking on a significant role until the second half of his rookie campaign.
“Irving's efficiency was elite, as his 5.4 YPC, 2.5 YAC, 90% catch rate and 7.5 RAC were all top 5 among RBs,” reads ESPN’s 2025 fantasy outlook.
Irving will still split work with Rachaad White, as the duo were one of only two running back duos across the league to each eclipse over 1,000 scrimmage yards apiece. But Irving seems poised to take on the lead back role, while White will handle third-down duties due to his receiving and pass blocking prowess.
Irving was a league winner for his value last season, but this year, he’s no secret. Irving’s current ADP sits at No.19 overall and No. 10 among running backs. You’ll have to spend an early pick if you want him, but Irving could be one of most productive running backs in the NFL behind an elite Tampa Bay offensive line, and he’s worth the hefty investment.
