Among the players whom the Tampa Bay Buccaneers added over NFL Draft weekend is Florida Gators defensive lineman Desmond Watson.
His name might ring a bell for the viral combine videos we saw of him, as it's not every day you see a 464-pound lineman working out for scouts. That's what happened, and the Bucs loved what they saw, signing Watson to a $20,000 bonus and $50,000 guaranteed deal to try and make the roster in August.
Watson won't be replacing anyone on the line, mostly because Vita Vea isn't going anywhere. However, if we thought the 347-pound Vea was already a capital-B Big Boy, he now has a teammate who is over 100 pounds heavier.
Bucs fans who are unfamiliar with Watson's game are finally seeing some of his college tape, and it's truly glorious -- and terrifying -- stuff.

His nickname is also one that we can all rally around in appreciation. Watson has been called the 'Tush Push Terminator, ' something that has irritated Eagles fans already, so his signing was worth it from that perspective.
Already the Eagles were unsuccessful in running the Tush Push against Vita Vea, so imagine what it'll be like doing it with the 464 pound Watson plugging the middle of the line as well.
It's more than just that, though. His highlight reel is packed with footage of him either being a brick wall as an opposing run game tries to get past him, or of Watson turning fully grown men into ragdolls.
Former Florida DT Desmond Watson — the 6-foot-5, 464-pound behemoth — is signing with the #Bucs on a deal that includes a $20,000 signing bonus and $50,000 guaranteed, per his agent EJ Gonzalez of Grady Sports Agency.

That's absolutely insane stuff, and is exactly why the idea of Todd Bowles being able to mold Watson is such a scary idea. Vea has been a wrecking ball for the Bucs and now they have a guy even bigger than him to either pair up alongside him or rotate out.
We'll see if the viral highlights Watson gave us can translate into him developing into an NFL player, but there's way too much to love to not be rooting for this guy to make it all the way through training camp. If The Terminator isn't already a fan favorite, it's only a matter of time before he becomes one.
