Sit ‘Em: Mark Sanchez – QB/Jets (at Pittsburgh Steelers)

Last week was great for Sanchez, as he shut up all his critics who had been hounding him all preseason long. But guess who’s back — the critics. They’re like fleas, Marky Mark isn’t going to be able to shake them but this week they’re likely right about him. It’s not so much Sanchez as it is the stout Steelers defense. They had a hiccup last week against Peyton Manning and the fantasy points are a bit skewed as the Broncos did return an interception for a touchdown, so the defense can’t be blamed for those points. But Sanchez is notoriously bi-polar when it comes to his consistency and the Steelers aren’t. They may not eat Sanchez alive in this one, but don’t expect him to come anywhere near his total he put up against the Bills in Week 1. If you have another option, go with it this week.
