Sit ‘Em: Tom Brady – QB/Patriots (at Baltimore Ravens)

This may seem like a knee jerk reaction — and it would be if Brady was playing anyone else– but after the week he had against the Cardinals, it’s safe to say Brady isn’t quiet up to the task of burning the Ravens defense. Tom Brady is elite, I get it, but the Raven defense is likewise, and so far this year they’ve managed to keep fantasy quarterbacks in check. Also take into account that Brady has only scored more than 13 fantasy points against the Ravens once since 2001 and he’ll be trying to best his 21 point total he posted in 2009 without the help of Aaron Hernandez. Sure he’s got Gronkowski but the Ravens didn’t get burned by him last year when it was the Year of the Gronk. It’s never easy to sit Tom Brady but if you want to win rather than go with trends, sit Brady this week and thank yourself when your backup posts a better total than him this week.
