Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em

Boy had Fred Davis fallen off the face of the Earth or what? So-called fantasy experts were projecting Davis to be the next big thing at tight end, and although Robert Griffin III is lights out, Davis has been nowhere on his radar so far this season. Last week epitomized Davis’ complete failure to be any sort of a fantasy player this year. With Pierre Garcon out, Davis was targeted five times — five times. That’s it, and that’s depressing to owners who thought they were hitting a home run with Davis. I’m going to be terribly blunt here, if Davis lays a dud again this week I’d consider dropping him entirely from your fantasy roster. If you haven’t picked up someone like Greg Olsen or Martellus Bennett from the waiver wire do it immediately as Davis is a sure-fire bust this year.
