Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em

Sit ‘Em: Brandon Pettigrew – TE|Lions (at Philadelphia Eagles)
The Lions are awful this year and this particular sit ’em kills me since Pettigrew is on my team. But I’m still going to tell you to bench him and the evidence is self explanatory. The Lions offense is vomitrocious this year and everyone is suffering from that. Calvin Johnson can’t get deep, Matthew Stafford has to rush throws and Brandon Pettigrew is not being targeted. Worse yet, when Pettigrew is targeted his hands turn into stone and he drops easy points for both owners and the Lions. On top of that the Lions and Pettigrew are running into an Eagles team that has stopped hot streaks cold for Dennis Pita and Martellus Bennett, you know tight ends that are leaps and bounds better than Pettigrew. If he has a good day, we won’t be the only ones shocked by it, leave this dud on the bench this week along with about every other Lion you own — if you still do.
