Start ‘Em: Philip Rivers – QB|Chargers (vs. Denver Broncos)
I really loathe the idea of Philip Rivers. He’s whiny, irritating and if not for Jay Cutler would be the most aggravating human being who plays quarterback in the NFL. That being said, unlike his annoying counterpart, Rivers is actually producing in fantasy this year which will forever be his one saving grace with me. That consistency should continue this week against a Broncos secondary that has allowed multiple passing touchdowns to every quarterback they’ve faced with the exception of Carson Palmer. Even last week in a game the Chargers lost, Rivers was on fire. This time around the Chargers are back home in San Diego, a place where Rivers loves to explode. In his last four home games Rivers has seven touchdowns against three interceptions and has passed for over 240 yards in three of those four aforementioned games. Rivers is a perfect case of hate the player, not his game — a game that you will greatly benefit from.
