Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em

Sit ‘Em: Dwayne Bowe – WR|Chiefs (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
The Buccaneers may have a suspect secondary, but the Chiefs have a suspect quarterback in Brady Quinn that may make this unit look better than it is. Besides that fact that he’s got a new quarterback who’s never thrown to him in a real game, Bowe has struggled to get going this year even with Cassel throwing him the ball. He’s averaging six points per game which is disgusting to realize if he’s on your roster and a high option on your roster at that. Sure he’s had two games where he’s combined for over 30 points, but when Cassel wasn’t the guy throwing him the ball last year, Bowe scored once. Quinn is no doubt going to get him involved, but if we know that, don’t you think that the Bucs know that and will game plan accordingly? Bowe’s a risky option this week and the reward he turns in might not even be worth the trouble and anxiety in starting him.
