The 2014 NFL Draft is in the books and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided they would make it an all offensive draft.
They took wide receiver Mike Evans in the first round, nabbed tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the second before drafting running back Charles Sims in the third. They addressed their offensive line in the fifth round as they took Kadeem Edwards and Kevin Pamphile before completing their draft class in the sixth round by taking wide receiver Robert Herron.
Many experts have praised Jason Licht for the draft class he assembled and now we wanted to get the opinion of our readers on how they felt their team did over the weekend.
Like the experts, the overall consensus was encouraging with many of our readers excited by the players the Bucs picked although some questions were raised.
Below, you’ll find the opinions of those who replied to us on Twitter. If you haven’t voiced your opinion yet, sound off on Facebook or in the comments section.
@ThePewterPlank Charles Sims will be a key part of this offense. Looking back to Tedford's Cal teams, multidimensional RBs were the standard

@ThePewterPlank love the picks and even their upside even more. Think if these RBs pan out could use Doug Martin as trade bait next year.

@ThePewterPlank im satisfied overall with the draft. We got the #2 rated WR and #2 rated TE some value at OL, RB, slot WR that we needed

@ThePewterPlank Would of been happy if they drafted Manziel or Evans. Can't believe all the crybabies b/c we didn't get Manziel. Overall: A

@ThePewterPlank solid statement by L&L going all offense, basically telling schiano your offense sucked and you can't coach defense watch me

@ThePewterPlank Last in the NFL in offense in 2013. They HAD to get studs to help that side of the ball. A+
