Happy Draft Day! It’s the time of year where NFL dreams come true and teams in the same division can put their season-long rivalry to the side and focus entirely on building for the future.

After finishing the year with a 6-10 record, the Atlanta Falcons will have a new head coach roaming the sidelines in former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. It’s a situation the Buccaneers know about all too well after the organization made the change to Lovie Smith just one year ago. With all the focus in these last few hours on if the Bucs will take Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston and how that will shape the rest of the offseason moves, let’s take a quick break and find out what is going on over in Atlanta.

Earlier this week, The Pewter Plank had an opportunity to speak with staff writer Harrison Nayler over at the Falcons’ FanSided site, Blogging Dirty, to discuss everything from today’s draft to the offseason and the future.
