Lovie Had Some Good One-Liners

Maybe it was the result of having the weight of making the No. 1 pick finally lifted off their shoulders or maybe it was actually having Winston on the team, but Lovie was in a good mood last night. Here are a couple of the funnier moments from last night’s press conference:

• When asked about Winston’s place on the depth chart, Lovie said, smiling, “So you would like for me Roy, to tell you before I talk to him and talk to our team, everybody just finding out, you would like me to do that.”
• While touching on the topic that Winston has never been a full-time quarterback, Smith brought up the Bucs’ strength coach, Dave Kennedy, who is looking forward to working with Jameis. Lovie added, “We are going to see if we can get him to get a six-pack, since you all talk about that so much.”
•  Lovie posed the question, “Just what can’t he do?” Then, followed that up, saying, “Run the 40 (yard dash).”
