After Week 13 the Buccaneers are still in the playoff talk around the league which is a new territory for this team but could become a yearly trend in Tampa now that they have found their long-term franchise quarterback in Jameis Winston. We could look ahead to the great things that are sure to come from this team but we can save that for the end of the season since they are still very much in the hunt for the playoffs this season!
There is only four games left and with looking at the schedule, the Buccaneers have a real shot at winning out and almost guaranteeing a playoff spot at 10-6. The four games remaining are as follows:
December 13 @ 1pm – New Orleans Saints (4-8)
December 17 @ 8:25 pm – @ St. Louis Rams (4-8)
December 27 @ 1pm – Chicago Bears (5-7)
January 3 @ 1pm – @ Carolina Panthers (12-0)
As you can see, aside from Carolina the records of our remaining schedule aren’t all that impressive. I will go more in-depth on what challenges each team presents and how the Buccaneers should fare against each one of them to give everyone an idea on how our chances of winning out look.
So without further ado, lets start by taking a look at the matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
