Buccaneers vs. Saints: 5 Bold Predictions

What is a game without some bold predictions? I have been thinking about all of the possibilities of this very important game for Tampa and here are Five Bold Predictions that I think will definitely be happening during this contest.

BOLD PREDICTION #1 – DOUG MARTIN PASSES ADRIAN PETERSON IN RUSHING YARDS

After Thursday Night’s game against the Cardinals, the Vikings superstar’s season total for rushing yards has went up to 1,251 yards. This is a great stat line for only 13 games played. With that being said, I believe our very own Dougernaut (not to be confused with muscle hamster) will pass AP by rushing for 125 yards Sunday against the Saints. Martin needs 118 yards to accomplish the feat of taking the lead.

BOLD PREDICTION #2 – JAMEIS WINSTON THROWS 5 TD’S ONCE AGAIN

Five touchdown’s for any NFL Quarterback is an incredible game but for a rookie to do it twice in one season is just unheard of. Well I am predicting that the unheard of happens this weekend when Winston lights up the worst secondary in the league for five touchdowns. After this performance, he will all but lock up the Offensive Rookie Of The Year Award.

BOLD PREDICTION #3 – DREW BREE’S THROWS 3 INTERCEPTIONS

I know what everyone is thinking..There is no way that Brees is throwing three interceptions against a secondary for the Bucs that is not amazing by any means. Hear me out, once the Bucs get a comfortable lead early the Saints will have no choice but to air it out. With Brandin Cooks most likely out Sunday with a concussion and Willie Snead questionable, the Saints Quarterback may be throwing to some unfamiliar faces. Put this with the fact that the Bucs defense will be hungry for a win with the playoffs in close reach and three interceptions doesn’t seem all that crazy to think.

BOLD PREDICTION #4 – BUCCANEERS WIN BY 21+ POINTS

If I am Winston or any other leader in the Buccaneer’s locker room this week, I am telling everyone that we need to make this a statement game and let the league know that these last few wins have not been a fluke. Bucs are definitely getting more respect than usual but with a blowout this weekend, their will be no question that Tampa is for real. I also see them climbing into the Top 10 in almost everyone’s NFL Power Rankings.

BOLD PREDICTION #5 – BUC’S DEFENSE COMBINES FOR 7 SACKS

The Bucs pass rush has been much better than usual this season but still inconsistent. I think they get after the QB against a Saints team who has three out of their five starters on the offensive line questionable for Sunday’s game. I do believe that Gerald McCoy will end up playing and contribute for two of those sacks on his own.

Well there you go, they don’t call them bold for nothing. I can’t wait to enjoy another victory on Monday and watch this team get even closer to the playoffs!
