Running Backs: A

This was the best group on the field in Tampa in 2015. Doug Martin, healthy again, showed the world that he deserves to be a Buccaneer for a long time. He ran the ball 288 times for 1,402 yards, a 4.9 yards per carry average, and six touchdowns. He also added 33 receptions out of the backfield, making him an elite running back, and quite the effective dual threat.

When Martin needed a rest, in walked Charles Sims, who also averaged 4.9 yards per carry in putting up 529 yards. He was also the team’s second leading receiver with 561 yards and four touchdowns. The two became quite the 1-2 punch as they helped Winston get his feet wet on the big stage.
