Linebackers: C+

Lavonte David hit his stride in his fourth season posting forcing two fumbles, recovering two, and three sacks to go along with a team-high 147 tackles. Rookie Kwon Alexander was right behind him with 93 tackles and three sacks of his own. However, no other linebackers posted a significant performance, and Danny Lansanah actually dropped off the pace a bit, down to 55 tackles and one sack.

They also must take a hit for the problems in pass defense. The top Pro Football Focus grade for a linebacker was Lansanah with a 2.1. Nobody else posted a positive figure. This group has to get better against the pass, as does the rest of the Buccaneers’ defense.

Next: Defensive Backs
