Fansided.com has released their first mock draft since the Super Bowl. They went with a cornerback for the Bucs, and one we have talked about before. His name is Vernon Hargreaves III.
"Tampa Bay needs defensive help, and it comes down to either an edge rusher or a cornerback for me. At this point in the draft, there isn’t an available pass rusher (at least in this mock) who warrants a top-10 pick, and while Hargreaves is slightly overrated in my view, he’s probably the best available corner. The Bucs have real trouble in pass defense based on the combination of a lack of pass rush and bad secondary play, and Hargreaves is a wildly talented player. Before he was unceremoniously torched by Jehu Chesson in the Citrus Bowl, Hargreaves was running stride for stride with Jalen Ramsey for top honors among cornerbacks in this draft, and the talent level is jarring for a player with his size. The positive thing about having a stable quarterback situation (hello, Jameis Winston) is that the Bucs can freely focus on the defensive side of the ball, and the presence of Lavonte David largely takes care of the linebacking corps for the next several years. It would be a surprise to me if Tampa Bay went offense here, and Hargreaves has all of the makings of a stud if he can clean a few things up in his profile."

It is early, as the Combine is going to be key to separate these players. That being said, the Bucs clearly need help at the cornerback position. Early returns are good on young Mr. Hargreaves. The tape is good, and with Jalen Ramsey off of the board at number five, this is a solid pick.
