2016 NFL Mock Draft: Buccaneers Get Their Pass Rusher

player. 28.
The Raiders are staying in Oakland for now, and unfortunately so is their pass defense.
<div class=. CB. Clemson. Mackensie Alexander. 14
Charles Woodson is gone, and he was the best part of the secondary. D.J. Hayden hasn’t panned out, so now is the time for the Raiders to bring in another young cornerback to challenge for a starting position. Getting Mackensie Alexander, at a minimum, brings immediate depth to the league’s seventh-worst passing defense.
Alexander has great cover skills, and shows great ball tracking skills while instinctively keeping up with some of the ACC’s best receivers. Alexander’s career stats are a little distorted due to opposing teams avoiding throwing in his direction, and he would relish the idea of NFL quarterbacks testing him early in his career. With aggressiveness and impressive athleticism, Alexander should be up for the challenge.
