35.
The Tennessee Titans made a splash in 2015 NFL Draft when they grabbed their franchise quarterback, Marcus Mariota. Mariota then turned in a good rookie showing, and has given Titans fans everywhere a reason to be hopeful for the future. However, he also missed four games due to injury.

Protecting Mariota and the future of the franchise has to be the priority heading into the 2016 draft and Laremy Tunsil out of Ole Miss can provide the protection the team needs. Tunsil is an athletic offensive tackle who has the ability to protect his quarterback and move when needed to ensure the Titans’ offense can use the full scope of Mariota’s abilities. Giving Mariota a pocket bordered with the talents of Tunsil and Taylor Lewan would give the second year quarterback a ton of confidence heading into 2016.

In addition to pass protection, Tunsil can significantly bolster the run game with his aggressive blocking style, and fearlessness when taking on linebackers at the second level.

While Tunsil’s talents are well-known, he does have some health concerns. Medical checks at the upcoming scouting combine will go a long way in cementing Tunsil as just the fourth offensive lineman in the last 20 years be the draft’s #1 selection.
.
