They nearly got to where they wanted this season until events led to an insane Steelers victory which put the Bengals season on ice.  Correcting those deficiencies goes beyond simple draft selections, but one avenue the Bengals can take is to score more points.

Currently, there’s no threat outside of Green to pull secondary defenders away from the Pro Bowler.  Defenses also played more aggressively against the run due to a lack of true number two receiver, and had success doing it.

Coleman is an athletic game-breaker with speed to threaten the safeties and quickness to lock down linebackers.  Bringing in a talent like Coleman would not only open things up for Green and tight end Tyler Eifert, but would also force linebackers and nickelbacks to play more honestly, allowing Bengals’ running backs to find more space in running lanes.
