Southern Utah. Miles Killebrew. 30. player. 87.
With the Panthers voiding the contract of Roman Harper, they’ll be looking for a replacement at the strong safety position.

While Tre Boston is a candidate to take over starting duties, Killebrew is a four-year starter for Southern Utah, and enters the draft as one of the more versatile safeties in the group. He may be a long second place from Jalen Ramsey, but he has talent any NFL franchise can take advantage of.

Possessing the ability to play close to the line, or anywhere in the secondary, Killebrew would give the Panthers a formidable duo being paired with Kurt Coleman in Carolina’s backfield. If Boston wins the starting job, Killebrew would be valuable depth and could potentially fill into linebacker roles in short yard and redzone situations.

Either way, Killebrew is a serviceable defender, and could be one of the bigger surprises of the draft coming late in round one.
. S
