<p>Ole Miss has never had two players taken in the top-10, but this year is the year.  Wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is the best receiver in this year’s draft class, and it isn’t even close.</p> <p>Anquan Boldin is a free-agent, and veteran Torrey Smith can’t be the only receiver option in Chip Kelly’s passing offense.  For the 49ers, many issues still need to be settled, including who the starting quarterback will be, but as long as Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert are on the roster, the team needs to find them weapons.</p> <p>Treadwell came back splendidly from a bad injury which ended his 2014 season prematurely.  In 2015, he reeled in 82 catches for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns.  He also showed his versatility by playing outside and in the slot when needed.  With the hand skills to make catches against talented defenders, and the speed to run quick routes underneath, he is just the type of receiver Chip Kelly’s offense is built for.</p> <p>While it may not solve all of the 49ers ‘issues in one shot, Treadwell would be a good start to setting things right.</p>.
