In the NFL draft, the first round doesn’t guarantee success, so the later rounds bring great value.  Here are five players the Buccaneers should consider in the second round.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did quite well in the 2015 NFL Draft.  The team added rookies who turned into four starters who look like they could be mainstays in Tampa for a long time to come, including a player who could possible become the team’s franchise quarterback.

It was the deeper parts of the class which really brought everything together though, and starters found outside of the top 32 picks will often times lead franchises to glory, and lots of it.  With players like Penn State’s Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet from Hobart, the Bucs scored big in the second round last year.  Another solid second round in the 2016 draft would ensure the Bucs maintain their upward trajectory, and here are five players who could be targeted at pick 39.
