RB. Ohio State. Ezekiel Elliott. 22. player. 10.
Arian Foster is one unfortunate injury after another, and while it’s disappointing to see a man with so much talent consistently be let down by his own body, the Texans need a premier running back.

Ezekiel Elliott was the feature back during Ohio State’s National Championship run, and was crucial to the team earning a bid to the Fiesta Bowl in 2016.

As a franchise, the Texans have some pieces in place, and even won a disappointing AFC South division in 2015. With a running game headed by Elliot, the Texans can provide more of a threat to teams who were able to rely on their front pressure to stop the run while the secondary sat in coverage.

Forcing linebackers to support the run will add a play-action ability the Texans desperately needed last season, and will benefit from for years.

Previously: Robert Nkemdiche – DT – Ole Miss
