Sheldon Rankins. 26. player. 36. <p>Sheldon Rankins doesn’t immediately address a need, but addresses a need which is looming on the horizon in Seattle.</p> <p>The great defense which has led the Seahawks to two Super Bowls and three NFC North division titles, is getting closer and closer to the point where the team will not be able to afford to keep it in tact.  This means new talent, and planning for the future.</p> <p>Rankins provides immediate depth, and provides the talent which can be developed into a starter when the time comes.  For the Seahawks’ future, Rankins makes sense, and for the short-term he provides talent in a key area for the long 2016 season.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Previously:  Sheldon Rankins – DT – Louisville</strong></p>.
