Notre Dame. Will Fuller. 32. player. 53.
A defacto first round pick due to the Patriots having to forfeit their first rounder, the Browns have the advantage of taking a second round pick at #32.

After adding Myles Jack in the first round, the Browns will look to bolster their offense. Wide receiver Travis Benjamin is a question mark as he enters free agency, and Josh Gordon is basically a permanent question mark. Even if he returns there is no guarantee it’s for the long haul.

Notre Dame wide receiver is a play maker and NFL caliber wide receiver who could re-energize the offense and provide veteran Josh McCown with a consistent target.

Obviously, the Browns need to address their quarterback future eventually, but to say this team is ill-prepared to add a rookie starter is obvious.

Building skill players and key positions around the roster will make the transition to a younger quarterback much easier whether that guy comes from later in this year’s draft after McCown retires, or through free agency.

Previously: Connor Cook – QB – Michigan State
.
