As Gregory enters stage 2 of the NFL substance abuse program, and Greg Hardy looks for a new home, the Dallas Cowboys are left with Demarcus Lawrence and Jeremy Mincey as their best defensive ends.

Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli needs a good defensive end to make his scheme work.  Joey Bosa is the best this year’s draft has to offer, and while the Cowboys would love to add to the offense, their defense needs to bulk up.

Owner Jerry Jones is no stranger to bold moves, and after seeing the Broncos render the Carolina Panthers dab-tastic offense irrelevant, he should realize his defense needs big help to get him and Romo closer to the title which has eluded them all these years.

Bosa will need work on his technique to help him get to NFL quarterbacks more often than he will at his current state, but his run-defense is top notch, and his work ethic should get him where the Cowboys need him to be.

The Dallas Cowboys seem to have moved on from troubled defensive end Greg Hardy, and on 19 February 2016, it was announced second year defensive end Randy Gregory will miss the first four games of the 2016 season due to a second failed drug test.
