42.
As long as Colin Kaepernick is on the 49ers roster, the team needs to give him weapons. Torrey Smith is not the answer, and Anquan Boldin is a free agent.

Looking for a number one option for Kaepernick has to be a priority, and Laquon Treadwell is the best receiver entering the scouting combine.

Some may remember Treadwell from his gruesome leg injury, suffered in 2014, but the junior returned for 2015 and turned in 82 catches for 1,153 yards. Furthermore, he eclipsed his career total in just his third season with 11 touchdown receptions.

Treadwell has great hands, and has the speed to threaten most defenses. While he may not be the top of the class in speed, his combination of skills is what makes teams so high on him.

Ole Miss’ all-time leader in receptions has shown resilience, determination, and toughness. He’s exactly what the 49ers roster needs, and taking him here in the draft should be a no brainer. A solid combine performance should cement him as a top-10 pick, and as the first team with an obvious need at receiver over all other positions, San Francisco should make Treadwell the third SEC player taken in the top-7 picks.

Previously: Laquon Treadwell – WR – Ole Miss
.
