Be Open Minded:

Marcus Mariota (above) may not have been an unknown, but there are a fair share of unknowns that get an invite to the combine. Ali Marpet is a prime example. I am sure that most Bucs’ fans were not up to date on the goings on at Hobart College, so Marpet may have been off of their radar. Clearly he shouldn’t have been off of any of our radars, as he has proven himself as a capable NFL starter so far. The smaller, lesser-known schools have talent also.

Jerry Rice went to Mississippi Valley State. Not exactly Ohio State, but that didn’t matter too much now, did it?

The point is, watch all of the players, not just the ones that you are familiar with. You might just find a guy that has some talent, and maybe someone who will be the next star of your favorite NFL team.
