What am I talking about? Here’s the thing, remember that the workouts are completely scripted. The staff, the scouts, the general managers, and the players, for the most part, know exactly what is going to happen. Heck, many of them go through training, specifically for the event. Yes, it helps them to put on a good showing, but that is exactly what it is. It’s a show.

What do we do then? Watch tape. If you find a player you aren’t familiar with, and you are intrigued, head over to YouTube and find some video. There are tons of highlights, and even game film that highlights the particular player. If you haven’t watched them play before, see what they do in game situations. It will give you a much clearer indication of how NFL ready they are.
