2016 NFL Mock Draft Version 2.0: Free Agency Week Edition
Shaq Lawson from Clemson showed at the combine he can be a top-10 talent. Unfortunately, team needs and other players in his position will lead to him dropping to the Chicago Bears at eleven.
While I’m sure Lawson will be happy to go top-15, there will be a little hurt feelings in the way he plays against the ten teams who passed him up along the way.
The Clemson product showed his natural abilities in the combine and showed little effect remaining from the injury he suffered during the college football playoffs.
For the Bears they need defense, and that’s pretty much all you need to know. The best defensive prospect here is Lawson, and he’s a fit no matter where they want to place him, so it should be an easy pick. Standing up, or with his hand on the ground, Lawson will be the start of reviving the Bears’ defense.
