Kirk Cousins has accepted his tag, and the only thing left to do is protect the Redskins’ investment, even if only for a season.

While the team and their quarterback discuss the future, the team needs to realize they need a better front line no matter who’s behind it.

Ryan Kelly is the draft’s best center, and the only one who could start day one.  Getting him in and getting Cousins together early would give the team the chance to better protect their quarterback, and spring their running game for bigger gains.

Drafting the championship center just makes sense, and the Redskins should take him in a heartbeat.
