The Texans need to go with a quarterback and running back in the first two rounds.  The first will obviously dictate the second.  If Elliott is available in round one, then they’ll take him and go for a quarterback – Hackenberg – in round two.  If not, which he isn’t here, then the Texans will draft their signal caller of the future in Carson Wentz.

Perhaps the quarterback with the most upside, Wentz looked solid at the combine, but not enough to show he’s starter material in year one.  A season behind Brian Hoyer will do Wentz some good, and give head coach Bill O’Brien a new gunslinger to build around in 2017.
