Percy Harvin – WR

How’s this for a “wild-card, outside the box” candidate? Harvin has had his injury issues and his locker room issues, but you know what he doesn’t have? Speed issues. This is the guy that takes the top off the defense, can line up outside or in slot, and, oh yeah, can be a dynamic special teams player as a punt and kickoff returner. Bucs can definitely use his services and the best part is? They’ll come cheap.

Harvin had a hot start in Buffalo last season, but was derailed with injuries. It seems like he’s been around forever, but Harvin is only 27 years old. His speed and dynamic play ability might be worth a one-year deal for what would likely be a very, very inexpensive price. Oh yeah, don’t forget…he went to Florida.

More and more signings will happen as the days pass. The Bucs will remain active and sign players that fill needs, immediately contribute, and not cost a fortune. And the best part is, they don’t have to fit in the Tampa-2 scheme anymore.
