The Jets have many needs, and perhaps the biggest one is at the quarterback position.  Ryan Fitzpatrick has yet to re-sign, and beyond him there isn’t much left.

More from Bucs Draft

Carson Wentz from North Dakota State presents a viable option for the present, but mostly for the future.  If “Fitz-magic” – as receiver Brandon Marshall refers to him – comes back, then Wentz will have a smart and savvy veteran to learn from for a season.  If he doesn’t, then “Wentz-magic” will have two great receivers in Marshall and Eric Decker, along with running back Matt Forte to help usher him into the NFL.

It’s a win-win, and if ever there was a situation where Wentz could thrive, it’s this one.
