The stars of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series in 2015, the Houston Texans won the worst division in the NFL due solely to their defense, and some magic from DeAndre Hopkins.
Now Houston has a quarterback in Brock Osweiler, running back in Lamar Miller, and all they need is a number two receiver and a tight end.
The tight end will come later – Nick Vannett from Ohio State maybe – but the number two receiver comes here, with Josh Doctson from TCU.
Doctson has deceptive quickness and the toughness to run underneath and middle routes. He also jumps out of the building, and comes down with more jump balls than his opponents do.
Doctson compliments Hopkins nicely, and the two can be very effective for Osweiler as he moves out of the shadow he was under in Denver.
