. Indiana. Jason Spriggs. 28. player. 124.

The Chiefs gave up the fifth most sacks in the NFL last season, and Alex Smith cannot continue to take that sort of punishment.

Signing Mitchell Schwartz from Cleveland was a huge upgrade for their offensive line, but Kansas City shouldn’t stop there.

Indiana’s Jason Spriggs turned heads at the combine with his ability and athleticism.

His pass protection and run blocking is predicated on technique instead of pure physical strength, which is good, because as his physical abilities improve his technique should as well.

Schwartz and Spriggs give the Chiefs solid bookends to secure one of the league’s weakest lines, and gives Kansas City a real shot at taking over as AFC West champions in 2016.
