Ereck Flowers

And last year, Ereck Flowers was the ninth selection by the New York Giants.  He started 15 games as Eli Manning‘s blind side protector.  He is a work in progress, ranked as the 74th overall tackle according to Pro Football Focus.  But, at left tackle, Flowers will have every opportunity to post a productive career.

What does this mean?  Well, not necessarily that much, as it is still on Jason Licht to make the right choice.  But, history tends to repeat itself, and the ninth pick has proven to be a solid one over the years.
