2016 NFL Draft: The Last Ten Choices at Number Nine
B.J. Raji
B.J. Raji was selected by Green Bay in 2009, and has been a staple in the middle of the defensive line ever since. After serving as a backup in 2009, he took over the starting job the final year and never relinquished it, starting every game going forward for the rest of his career. His best year came in 2010, with 39 tackles and 6.5 sacks. At 6’2″ and 334 pounds, he occupies multiple offensive opponents, allowing for players like Clay Matthews to make plays.
He may not light up the box score, but Raji has played an important role for this Packers’ team. He has decided to take a hiatus in 2016, yet may come back the following year. But, it is not in disputed that Raji has been a solid choice at number nine.
